Solutions for an industry in transition

Marco Butz – Head of the Department of Economic and Urban Development of the City of Offenburg at the first networking event in April

Thomas Dieterle and Jonathan Kress believe that the construction industry is experiencing a period of upheaval that offers plenty of opportunities. This was one of the aims of our first networking event in April, which brought together industry players, customers and clients from the entire Südbaden and Südwürttemberg region for the first time.

Thanks to VR glasses, guests at the networking event were able to see for themselves how virtual reality can be used to experience rooms in high-resolution images even before construction begins. The offer was very well received, “the subsequent dialogue among the guests was lively,” said Andrea Manz, Head of Marketing. Many stayed “far longer than they had planned” at the end of the event in the company’s own beach bar, added Managing Director Jonathan Kress. There were new intentions to co-operate as well as new business contacts. Not only for him a sign of how much such an industry meeting was longed for by many.

According to Thomas Dieterle, Marco Butz, Head of the City of Offenburg’s Economic and Urban Development Department since January, also saw it that way. He was pleased that Trium Novem had taken this into its own hands. In his greeting, Butz called for more courage to build housing in the “strong business location of Offenburg”. In return, he himself wanted to work towards reducing bureaucratic obstacles. It was just as desirable for the business promoter as it was for other attendees to remain in dialogue to achieve the common goal.

Trium Novem network event

At Trium Novem’s first networking event in Offenburg, guests from across the region came together to discuss the construction of the future

The construction industry is in crisis, or so one might think in view of recent headlines. Jonathan Kress and Thomas Dieterle believe that the construction industry is experiencing a period of upheaval that offers a wealth of opportunities. This was one of the aims of a networking event at the headquarters in Offenburg, which brought together industry players, customers and clients from the entire South Baden and South Württemberg region for the first time.

Change is “the new normal” in the construction industry, as Prof Dr Sabine Rein, President of the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz (HTWG) since 2020, summed up in her presentation to around 70 guests and partners from the fields of construction and planning. She showed how her university is responding to change. According to Jonathan Kress and Thomas Dieterle, Trium Novem has had the right answer to this with its corporate concept since 2021: by acting as a control centre, bringing together agile partners from all disciplines involved – and thus offering customers everything from a single source. And so the Trium Novem team wants to offer the event regularly in future. The next event is planned for autumn.

Kununu Top Company Award 2024 – Let’s Celebrate!

The employer rating platform kununu honors us as Top Company 2024 for the second year in a row. The award relies on the independent ratings of employees on the platform. Trium Novem is, therefore, one of the companies with the best working environment in Germany.

“We congratulate Trium Novem GmbH on receiving the Top Company 2024 seal,” says Nina Zimmermann, CEO of kununu. “The award is given to employers with particularly good ratings on kununu. As only around five percent of companies meet the qualification criteria, this is a very select group. Employers who are awarded the seal are not only characterized by recognition and appreciation but also send a strong signal to talented people who are looking for a fitting company,” Zimmermann continues.

Trium Novem – The Third Year

Third time is a charm, it is commonly said, and we can confirm. Also in the third business year of Trium Novem, there was a lot of action. On all ends, there was a lot of progress; from large residential projects in Emmendingen and Schramberg to the renovation of the substation in Pulverdingen. The architecturally attractive Areal Sonne for assisted living in Zell-Weierbach has already been finished successfully, and two expansions of industrial constructions in Kehl will be soon. In short, we are very proud of everything we have achieved in 2023. Another turnover of almost 20 million euros is by no means a matter of course regarding the various challenges in the construction industry.

Therefore, we want to thank our as qualified as enthusiastic team, as well as our clients and partners, without whom such a success would not have been possible. And like that, in our expanded bureau in Offenburg, our focus is already on 2024, where we want to keep going in the same way: with creativity and passion, creating for tomorrow. Literally.
