Marco Butz – Head of the Department of Economic and Urban Development of the City of Offenburg at the first networking event in April
Thomas Dieterle and Jonathan Kress believe that the construction industry is experiencing a period of upheaval that offers plenty of opportunities. This was one of the aims of our first networking event in April, which brought together industry players, customers and clients from the entire Südbaden and Südwürttemberg region for the first time.
Thanks to VR glasses, guests at the networking event were able to see for themselves how virtual reality can be used to experience rooms in high-resolution images even before construction begins. The offer was very well received, “the subsequent dialogue among the guests was lively,” said Andrea Manz, Head of Marketing. Many stayed “far longer than they had planned” at the end of the event in the company’s own beach bar, added Managing Director Jonathan Kress. There were new intentions to co-operate as well as new business contacts. Not only for him a sign of how much such an industry meeting was longed for by many.
According to Thomas Dieterle, Marco Butz, Head of the City of Offenburg’s Economic and Urban Development Department since January, also saw it that way. He was pleased that Trium Novem had taken this into its own hands. In his greeting, Butz called for more courage to build housing in the “strong business location of Offenburg”. In return, he himself wanted to work towards reducing bureaucratic obstacles. It was just as desirable for the business promoter as it was for other attendees to remain in dialogue to achieve the common goal.
